DESCRIPTION:Residents and visitors of Eastham are here for very specific reasons. Most all of them have to do with their appreciation of its unique environment.\n\n\n\nThe Eastham Chamber of Commerce\, the Eastham Recreation and Beach Department\, and the Eastham Department of Public Works would like everyone in Eastham to observe Earth Day by taking just one hour on April 22\, between 8:00 AM to 12 Noon\, to clean up a little section of our pride and joy.\n\n\n\nIt's as easy as 1 - 2 - 3\n\n Put together a team from your friends\, school\, organizations\, business\, clubs\, neighborhood\, non-profits\, town offices\, or church.\n Select one of the locations from the list below and register your name or team name. \n Show up on April 22 at your selected location with your team\, grab a bucket and checklist and record any litter you pick up. When you are finished return the bucket and any other litter that your team has collected.\n\n\nBoat Meadow Beach\n\nCampground Beach\n\nCook's Brook Beach\n\nFirst Encounter Beach\n\nGreat Pond Beach\n\nHemenway Landing & Skiff Hill\n\nHerring Brook Landing\n\nSunken Meadow Beach\n\nThumpertown Beach\n\nWiley Park\n\n \nOur partner\, the Eastham Department of Public Works will pick up the bucket and any other refuse that you collect to weigh and properly dispose of your findings. Wear work gloves and dress appropriately for the weather. This is a safe and easy way to get together with your friends.
