Join the Cape Symphony at the Cape Cod National Seashore’s outdoor amphitheater for the fifth Symphony at the Seashore concert on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 7:00 PM. Pre-concert activities for kids and parents will be offered from 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM. Admission is free. The Cape Symphony will be joined by special guest Dawn Derow, who grew up in Eastham. She has a bachelor’s degree in music from the Boston Conservatory, and has performed around the world in operas, musicals, and, over the past dozen years, as an award-winning cabaret singer in NYC. Dawn sang with the Cape Symphony at our annual Holiday on the Cape in 2021. Dawn will perform “Olde Cape Cod,” as made famous by Patti Page, “(I Like New York in June) How About You?” and “Over the Rainbow,” among other favorites. The program will also include a Disney medley, a special multimedia tribute to the National Parks and the Cape Cod National Seashore in particular, and stirring patriotic numbers, including a tribute to our armed forces and veterans.
