A WILD CARE BENEFIT DINNER - AT KAROO
Wild Care Inc, the wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center in Eastham, will host a mouth-watering South African Bar-B-Q at Karoo Restaurant.
Guests should arrive at 4:30 PM for drinks and appetizers. A presentation will be given by Stephanie Ellis, Wild Care’s Executive Director from 5:30 - 6 PM. Dinner is from 6-8 PM with entertainment featuring the lovely and talented musician, Sarah Burrill.
Wild Care supporters and friends will enjoy the savory taste of a South African Bar-B-Q and the delightful signature drink of the night - African Sunrise. The menu also includes vegan and vegetarian versions of traditional dishes. Karoo Owner and Chef Sanette Groenewald will make a special appearance, and guests can bid on Wild Care's silent auction items throughout the evening.
A highlight of the evening is a live presentation with “Nickerson”, Wild Care’s educational Eastern Screech Owl and Turtle 45, a gorgeous and unique Eastern Box Turtle who truly loves people!
Tickets include appetizers, entrees, dessert, and a live owl and turtle presentation by Wild Care. Cash bar available. Reservations required by April 23 and can be made online at
